Dear Marie, You are as beautiful today as you were in 8th grade when you were a student in my language arts class at Dillard Drive Middle. I am praying for you and believe everything will turn out fine. I need you to stay strong and positive and fight with everything you have. Marie, What a beautiful young lady you turned out to be. Just know, I am thinking of you and praying for you. As I have often repeated, I never forget a former student (especially those who have unique eyes) and you will always have my support. Let me know how I can help in any way. Joe firstyou and your family are in our prayers. I hope you don't mind but I have contacted my very good friend at the National Kidney Foundation about Marie. We are very active in the NKF because of Savannah's kidney disease. The NKF provides support for organ donation and transplantation of other organs. I spoke with her earlier and she is going to look into some other organizations as well that could hopefully provide you with some sort of support or avenues to help Marie and your family with this battle. I do not have an e-mail address for you guys so if you read this please send me an e-mail at jfonvielle@charter.net. Please tell Brenda that we will be moving back to Cary very soon and that I will make sure that I come by for a garden tour as a distarction but that if she needs anything to please let me know. As soon as I get the information I will attempt to contact you. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and that I will do anything that I can to provide you with more information for support .
